Teaching
Teaching is such an interesting profession.
Learning has suddenly got interesting after coming to MIT. I finally understood what Maxwell’s equations mean, and I don’t think I’m going to ever forget it again. This also causes my mind to repeatedly contrast the teaching here with elsewhere.
Its amazing how some professors simply abrogate their responsibility towards teaching their students. They turn good people into mediocres. They are scared that the depth of their knowledge revealed will damage them, and so never take up teaching as a challenge. They punish students who ask questions, either by ignoring them repeatedly, givng lower grades, or counter-asking queations and embarrasing them.

Ways of teaching = variety of human nature… it is a process of making a difference… specially discouraging teachers are very harmful one. But somehow they never happen to realise…But that harm can never be permanent… one might find a genuine teacher, a guide at any stage of life or any stage of education…
